Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026 — placeholder, pending legal review.
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of DroneHire, a platform operated by Arora Group AB (Organization Number 559579-7092), a company registered in Sweden. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use DroneHire.
DroneHire is a marketplace that helps clients find certified drone operators in Sweden. Using the platform is free. We provide the listing, profiles, project board, and messaging touchpoints only — we are not a party to any agreement made between a client and an operator.
DroneHire does not process, collect, hold, escrow, or transfer any money between clients and operators. All payments are arranged and made directly between the client and the operator, using whatever method and terms the two parties agree on (for example Swish, bank transfer, invoice, or cash).
The price shown on a proposal and on a booking is simply the amount the two parties have agreed to settle between themselves. DroneHire takes no commission or platform fee.
Because we are not involved in payments, DroneHire is not responsible for and accepts no liability for: the amount, method, or timing of any payment; non-payment, late payment, or refunds; invoicing, VAT, or taxes; the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any work; or any dispute that arises between a client and an operator. You are solely responsible for agreeing terms, verifying the other party, keeping records, and resolving any disagreement directly.
Operators are responsible for holding the licences, insurance, and permits required to fly legally in Sweden. Clients are responsible for paying operators as agreed. Both parties are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including aviation, privacy, and tax rules.
By registering for or using DroneHire you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform is lawful in your location.
You must provide accurate and complete information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Do not create accounts for other people or impersonate anyone. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Creators (including drone operators) are solely responsible for holding any licences, certifications, insurance and permits required to carry out their work legally, and for declaring these accurately. DroneHire does not independently verify, certify or guarantee any creator's identity, credentials, licences, insurance, equipment or the quality of their work. A profile appearing on the platform is not an endorsement, recommendation or warranty by DroneHire.
Clients are responsible for independently checking and satisfying themselves about a creator before hiring — including their identity, licences, insurance, permits, experience, suitability and previous work — and for agreeing all terms directly with the creator. Any decision to hire, and any engagement that follows, is made at the client's own risk. DroneHire is not a party to that engagement.
You agree not to use DroneHire to:
- break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so;
- post false, misleading, fraudulent, infringing, harmful, harassing or offensive content;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- scrape, harvest, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its data;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- circumvent or interfere with the operation, security or intended use of the platform.
You keep ownership of the content you upload (such as profile details, portfolio images and videos, messages and reviews). By uploading it you grant DroneHire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate and promote the platform. You confirm that you own or have the rights to the content you upload and that it does not break these Terms or any law.
You may stop using DroneHire and close your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict or remove your account or any content, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or acted unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licences, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity) continue to apply.
DroneHire is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any creator, client, listing, proposal or piece of content is accurate, reliable, lawful, suitable or of any particular quality.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DroneHire and Arora Group AB are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform or any dealings between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DroneHire and Arora Group AB from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your content, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date. Your continued use of DroneHire after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any dispute relating to them or to your use of DroneHire is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
